Te Wheke

My health model is Te Wheke, the culture this model represents is Maori and the key features in it are the head of the octopus which represents Te whanau in other words family. I will apply the Te Wheke model to an event that happened over the weekend. This well-being is based on social well-being which is based around family and friends. Something that happened over the weekend was that we had a Cook Island Touch tournament with my family that occurs every year, meaning everyone from the different islands comes together and has fun for a whole day.

PE Reflection

What was your level last week? The level I thought I was at was level 2.

Why were you that level?Because I participated and helped everyone in my team, but still had a low attitude.

What do you need to do to be a higher level?I need to communicate more within my team and have a  better attitude

Cooking Muffins!

Yesterday in cooking class we had the chance to cook muffins with Miss Tuipulotu. Our first steps were to put all the dry ingredients together followed by the wet ingredients. First i added 1 ½ c of Self raising flour (S.R.F) and ⅓ c of sugar and added that altogether. We followed that by putting 1 c of milk, ¼ c of oil, 1 drop of vanilla essence and three drops of food colouring we mixed it together. We put it in the muffin trays and put it in the oven. 10 mins go by and finally our delicious muffins come out beautiful. Having a final taste test and it was perfect.
